The George Inn is located in the pretty village of Brompton Regis and is the village Inn. As a traditional 16th Century Village Inn Free house in the beautiful Exmoor National Park not far from Dulverton offering a friendly village inn atmosphere with en-suite accommodation and quality wholesome pub food and well kept ales.

With Wimbleball Lake and Dulverton nearby, the George is perfectly placed for outdoor activities such as sailing or canoeing on Wimbleball Lake, cycling, riding or sightseeing. The pub has wonderful views and a favourite activity is to sit in the pub and just look at the view either from the garden or inside the pub.
Our aim is to preserve the village pub so we will have home made dishes on our menu from local produce with guest ales to compliment the local real ales from Exmoor.
There are plenty of local attractions and dogs are welcome so why not stay at the Inn?
Exmoor is a wonderful place to get away from it all and relax. For those wishing to get to know the local area on foot, by bicycle or by car, we can help you with directions or even lend you a map. In the entrance hall we provide a wide selection of brochures on attractions and things to do in the area to help you plan your days out.
